January 27th update

Nancy's Spokane service will be held at the Chapel on Whitworth University campus on Saturday, February 8th at 10:00am.  Nancy and I met at Whitworth, our son Mike also graduated from there.  Whitworth has been and will continue to be a very big part of our family's life. Donation's to Whitworth in Nancy's honor was her request.

There have been so many nice thoughts and actions by our friends over the fight with cancer.  Our family cannot say thank you enough for the kindness. Blessings to all, BC

The Green Bay dates will be published when they are known.

  1. My name is John Enderby. I am a pastor here in the Kansas City area. Nancy was a classmate of mine at Bay Port. She was not only the prettiest girl in our school, but she was the kindest, and very humble, never conceited even though she easily could have been. I remember, each day Nancy would always brush her teeth after eating in the cafeteria. It paid off!!I could never make it back to any of our reunions, but Nancy would always write a note to me and end it with, "May God's peace be with you John!" So now I will pray that all of Nancy's family and friends deeply experience the profound peace of God and His amazing comfort. John 11:25-25 Blessings, John

  2. My name is MaryKim (Plischke) Allen from Boise, Idaho. Nancy is our third cousin. Her Dad, Ralph, and our Mom, Eunice "Nicky" (Nick) Plischke, were first cousins. Our families grew up together attending school together, family reunions, family home gatherings, etc. Nancy was a beautiful person inside and out. I remember how kind she always was towards me, and how she would appease me whenever I asked her to play the piano. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family & friends. She will be truly missed but never forgotten...I will let the rest of my family in Wisconsin know about Nancy's passing. You have truly been blessed by her in your lives. MaryKim

  3. I am very sorry to hear of Nancy’s passing. I went to high school with Nancy, at Bay Port, & graduated with her in 1968. I did not know she had been ill, until I read the obit in today’s Green Bay Press Gazette. She was a very beautiful young lady back in high school, & from the photo in this blog, she was still very beautiful. I remember how proud we were of her when she won the Miss Green Bay Pageant! The last time I saw her was at our 20 year class reunion, in 1988. She looked gorgeous in a white sun dress! I remember thinking that she had not changed at all in 20 yrs! She was always a very kind & considerate person, beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. You were very lucky to have her in your life for 40+ years! My thoughts & prayers are with you. God Bless. Nancy (Bickel) Quarters
