September 30th Update

Two more sessions of radiation to go....and then Nancy gets a break from treatments other than monthly infusions and periodic scans. Nancy is extremely tired, and the burns are very uncomfortable. Only two more days! Nancy should start to feel better in around two weeks.

We were in Seattle for the Koman Walk ceremony, our son Mike walked 60 miles, his team raised over $17,000, and the Walk raised over $6 Million. It was very emotional to see the closing ceremony....our friends the Stewarts joined us there.
Monday, Nancy met with the surgeon, Dr Towbin and Oncologist Dr Lonnergan. Both doctors continue to monitor Nancy's status. We will continue to have two groups on our case. Basically, all agree that a rest/monitoring time is needed.

Next week, Nancy has a PET scan, and a complete review meeting with Dr Anthony here in Spokane on October 14th. We will also continue to meet with the radiation folks the end of October.

Thanks to all who support Nancy, and thanks from us to all who supported Mike's efforts. You are all appreciated.

September 22nd Update

Nancy is down to 7 more radiation treatments. She has two main side effects, being tired and the burns (like a bad sunburn) that comes from daily treatments. Support for Nancy continues to be amazing. We are intending to go see the cancer walk closing ceremony in Seattle Sunday and see the Evergreen Doctors on Monday. Thank you for all the help and support for Nancy.

September 8th update

Tomorrow Nancy will be half way through her radiation treatments. She will have had 15 of the 30 scheduled treatments. Her main side effect remains to be tiredness. She had a wonderful visit with her Mom, Dad, Todd, Ally, Mike, and Keeton. The next Doctor appointment is on the 16th here in Spokane. Thank you all for all the cards, calls, and great support. That support has made a huge difference in this journey!
