OK, the doctors met and we have a plan. This week Nancy will get her port, and have the Zomeda infusion. On April 30th at 11:30, Nancy will start chemo here in Spokane. The chemo will be over less time, maybe 6 weeks to 2 months. Not sure what is after that, but we meet with both Oncologists next week, Dr Lonergan in Kirkland on Tuesday, and Dr Anthony here in Spokane on Thursday.
Nancy's chemo is weekly, and is scheduled for either Thursday afternoons or Friday afternoons. Bill met with the nurses at Dr. Anthony's office yesterday and learned weekly treatments are much more friendly to the patient for side effects. The goal is for Bill to be with Nancy for every treatment and home for the first couple of days after (which would be the weekend).
